Ketubah 9

Contact Us
This commissioned papercut ketubah for Annie and Michael Kluger was executed in 2000 in 7 layers of teal and cream papers and measures 48cm x 48cm (18.9" x 18.9") The flowing design was created from the first letters of the first and family names of the bride and groom.

The beautiful text, cut with scalpel, around the work and from which this ketubah receives its name, is attributed to the Baal Shem Tov and reads: "A light beam emanates from every human being and reaches to the very heavens. And when two souls become one, then both light beams intertwine and flow in oneness. And so, a single, yet far brighter, ray of light is created from the union of two people".
